I really liked this place! Ordered the first time tonight. The food was great and they didn't mess up my order which had special requests. The price is decent too. Needed a new place after M&J closed down and this place is it.

I ordered some delivery Chinese as I am still searching for the best option . New Red House came up on seamless so I gave it a try . The food arrived on time and was hot . I ordered the Generals chicken , Pork lo mein, egg rolls and pork. Everything was quite good although the chicken as a tad soggy . All is all - a good choice and I will order again !

This place is my favorite Chinese food spot!!. They're delicious and convenient whether I need takeout for lunch or dinner!!. They have awesome chicken/beef broccoli, chow fun general tso's chicken..delicious!!. You're the best red house!!, thank you!

I've never eaten here (and by the looks of the other reviews I probably never will) but the owner (?) found my friend's phone on the street and was kind enough to keep it for us till we came and picked it up. Red house earns a 5/5 in my book for stellar service and good karma! Thanks a bunch

I really like this Red House, and the only way it could be more convenient is if I lived in the actual restaurant. It's so close that it takes me longer to go up to the roof than run out and pick up my order, so, many thumbs up for that. As for what people seem to be complaining about, I just haven't seen it. I've ordered here nearly a dozen times, and the only "problems" I've ever had were the time they substituted delicious veggie spring rolls for the pork ones they'd run out of, and the time Beyond Menu didn't actually transmit my order, which wasn't even their fault, and was rectified on a busy Christmas Eve within 10 minutes. Are their dumplings a little doughy? Maybe, but I like that, because they're very much the same as the ones I learned to love as a child. The pan fried wontons in hot oil are stellar, though, as is the lo mein. Their garlic sauce could use a little more heat, but I always order the eggplant with it, and whatever it lacks is easily solved with a few dashes of chili oil. The orange chicken is outstanding, with sizeable pieces of burnt peel, which is in my opinion the best part. I don't know what the problem is with the service, either; the place looks like it has a plywood floor with a cardboard runner, and there are maybe two tables outside. If you spend $8 here, you're going to get what you pay for. If that doesn't satisfy you, try spending more time in your suite at the Plaza, Daddy Warbucks. It's unbelievable to me what people will take umbrage with, and I'm quite picky about most things. At any rate, the food at Red House is consistent, and most of what I've had is good to very good for what it is: a hole-in-the-wall slinging Americanized Chinese food. No Michelin star here, although I wouldn't be shocked to someday see a tire. Set your expectations accordingly.
